On 11th March 1996, Richard Schmidt joined the h/p/cosmos family. He started his career as an assembly engineer, continued as technical support manager and technical director. In 2007, he joined the management board as authorized signatory before being appointed Managing Director of h/p/cosmos on his 20th anniversary in 2016.
On his 25th anniversary, a small gathering took place to honour his 25 years on duty.
President and company co-founder Franz Harrer thanked Richard Schmidt for his ongoing loyalty and motivation as well as the outstanding effort, making Richard Schmidt highly respected and widely popular amongst customers, partners, suppliers and distributors as well as amongst the h/p/cosmos team.
