Our instrumented treadmills are a proven tool for the analysis and treatment of gait disorders in neurologic, orthopaedic and geriatric rehabilitation and research. In a current edition of the magazine “Rundum gesund”, the German TV station ARD met Prof. Dr. Thomas Joellenbeck from the Institute for Biomechanics at the Klinik Lindenplatz in Bad Sassendorf (Germany) to get insights to the impact of different shoes, from sneakers to business shoes and high heels, on gait and the whole body.
The institute is relying on an h/p/cosmos quasar med instrumented treadmill including safety arch as well as the active gait correction system robowalk! The treadmill is able to measure pressure via the built-in zebris pressure distribution measurement platform.
