All contracts with the construction companies have been signed. Building permits have been granted for all 4 halls for production, storage, logistics as well as development labs and 4 office buildings for development, purchasing, administration, marketing, sales, service, product management, IT, regulatory and clinical affairs, quality management, and accounting.
A large exhibition area and conference room for about 80 to 100 participants will also be built for many events. In several construction phases, more than 15,000 square meters of commercial space will be created in the modern buildings of the h/p/cosmos DALA Campus.
The name of the project: DALA stands for "Diagnostics And Locomotion Alliance."
The DALA Campus is situated on the 26,000 square meter h/p/cosmos property in Traunstein near the Munich-Salzburg highway, placing it in the heart of Europe.
Recently, company founder and shareholder Franz Harrer thanked the h/p/cosmos sports & medical gmbh top management team on the occasion of a shareholder - management meeting, and we jointly visited the location with the construction sign. Afterwards we celebrated the super successful year 2024 and the very good interim results for 2025.
In its nearly 40-year history, h/p/cosmos has continuously expanded since its founding in 1988 to meet the growing global demand for sports, medical and research equipment with innovative and durable devices and systems.
The production of frame parts for the h/p/cosmos treadmills, ergometers, airwalk unweighting systems, robowalk gait trainers, and other innovative solutions can grow much faster in the future.
A large portion of the buildings and spaces at the DALA Campus will be required by h/p/cosmos for its own needs. However, rentals are also planned, primarily to partners and companies from the medical technology, rehabilitation, diagnostics, sports, and health sectors. Rooms can also be made available for a neurological and orthopedic rehabilitation center.
Synergies can be created through the shared use of exhibition and conference rooms, for example, in research projects, the collection of clinical data, training sessions, seminars, events, or meetings with specialized retailers. Collaborations in research and development, robotics, production, and sales are also intended on the campus.
h/p/cosmos, as a traditional and globally operating company, still has very big plans, and the new campus as well as the DALA concept will further advance this.
