As a new feature, we will keep you posted regularly on the most recent research and relevant scientific publications – the h/p/cosmos science update!

The h/p/cosmos gaitway® 3d instrumented treadmill is one of the most accurate tools available and enables the measurement of ground reaction forces, torques and pressure at the same time! Our system enables a large variety of applications and topics in science. In a new research project from the UCLouvain - Université catholique de Louvain in Belgium, the researchers compared selected running parameters while running against traction resistance or on a slope.

This is a more fundamental research to better understand running energetics and existing models (e.g. spring-mass model).

Our gaitway® 3d measures the ground reaction forces (GRF) on a highly accurate level on one big running surface - without split belt. Furthermore the patented h/p/cosmos robowalk® and robomove® pulley can apply forces (traction resistance) equal to the setup in this research.
