When it comes to aging, most effects associated have a restrictive impact on the subjects’ lives. A great study published in scientific reports on nature.com deals with the instability resistance training of 68 older adults. Besides various techniques the investigators utilized the h/p/cosmos robowalk® expander elastic bands along with a quasar treadmill in order to strengthen the hip/thigh adductors and abductors. As a result, the training group was able to improve their working memory, processing speed and response inhibition. From unpublished data we know, that the participants reported to also have a lot of fun while using the robowalk® expander. “Fun” is also a very motivating factor in every therapy and training regime that enables patients to perform the more and more.
