We are very much looking forward to supporting our local partners Cosmed and Noraxon during this year’s ACSM Meeting & World Congress.
-40°C and harsh winds. A perceived temperature of -70°C. Truly extreme conditions!
But at the same time: the perfect setup to test special gear for Antarctic expeditions under almost realistic conditions. One of the places in Europe to simulate such extreme conditions is the terraXcube at the Eurac Research in Bolzano (IT). D'air Lab tested a new suit for these very special conditions in the climate and environmental chamber and relied on the quasar® MCU6 treadmill as the tool to simulate physical activity in this environment!
Seasonal greetings to you, your families and teams!
Our office will be closed from Good Easter (15. April) to Easter Monday (18. April) inclusive.
We will be back in the office on Tuesday, 19. April 2022.
Enjoy the holidays!
Those who want to learn to walk, must walk. Our slogan is especially true in therapy. As a company with strong regional roots, it was important to us to make our contribution when it came to replacing a broken treadmill at the Lebenshilfe Traunstein.
Last week, the time had come and we were able to install the treadmill - supported by another donation - in the Altenmarkt support centre. Going forward, it will be used there for accompanying therapy, mobilisation and physiotherapy.
When researches, industry or elite sports facilities are talking about instrumented treadmills that allow the precise and combined measurement of 3D forces and pressure, there is no way to miss the gaitway® 3d.

Dear customers,
In order to comply with all regulatory requirements and MDR medical device regulation (EU) 2017/745, h/p/cosmos performs regular PMS Post Market Surveillance, updated Clinical Evaluation Reports CER and ongoing Risk Management.
In the latest CER file update 2 additional contra-indications have been found in the evaluation of clinical data and literature and a few recommendations have been made, which are incorporated in this addendum of the original instructions for use.
Arab Health 2022 opens today. For the next 4 days, Dubai will again be the buzzing spot for the medical and healthcare industry – not only for the MENA region but worldwide.
Assistive walking devices are constantly gaining value in rehabilitation markets. The German Sports University Cologne recently published a study on non-electric assistive walking devices powered by a cam-spring mechanism, directly worn by orthopaedic and neurological patients.
The results indicate that patients benefit in terms of increased gait quality (step length, cadence and hip flexion improved during the assisted walking), while muscle activity stays unaffected by the assistive device.
